PVOH is a versatile polymer that can easily dissolve in water, and when added to a cement slurry it enhances the adhesion properties. PVOH also improves the fluidity of cement mortars at relatively low addition rates. A wide range of PVOH grades are available, with varying degrees of viscosity, molecular weights and rates of polymerization.
